“I told her to push it, push it real good,” said soon to be father Ed, while expectant mother Michelle replied between contractions “Oh Baby, Baby, B-Baby Baby.”
Michelle was comfortably resting after finally opting for an epidural after a few major contractions, and husband Ed was able to take a brief two hour nap. With Doctor Ramona Marsh scheduled to arrive at 7am for the delivery, things progressed throughout the night with little complications. “We weren’t expecting a text-book delivery, but this is going better than that,” said Dr. Marsh. “She (Michelle) just needs to keep doing what she’s doing.
Ed, on the other hand, welcomed his own challenges.
“The short amount of sleep I’m getting is just going to make me stronger and better prepared for the 48-hour Film Competition, which is coming up July 24th-26th,” said Ed. “Our team, Flying-J Studios is fully prepared this year to squash our opposition in the event, and with the launch of our website, we’ve received a number of qualified submissions from out-of-work actors/actresses from across the Midwest,” he said.
One thing that Flying-J Studios will not have to worry about for the film competition is filling the role of lead actor/actress under the age of 1-year. That role will be filled this morning with the birth of Ed and Michelle’s baby.
“We’re not sure how big of a part our child is going to have, but with the slow-moving economy, we understand that Flying-J Studios is operating under a limited budget this year so they can only pay the child-actor/actress by the minute,” said Ed.
“Thank God the film can only be no longer than 7 minutes,” said Flying-J Studios co-founder Taras Zharov. “We are well aware the Sochacki’s have already contacted Drew Rosenhaus to represent their child, so we expect drawn-out contract discussions, but at the end of the day, we are confident we’ll reach an agreement with the family.”
In the meantime, as Michelle continues to push it, the family took a brief timeout to address the media, in hopes of conveying news to their family and friends. “We’re, or should I say, I’m dancing up a storm in the room, trying to shed a few additional pounds while I can,” said Ed. “Everyone’s invited to join the dance party, but this dance ain’t for everybody, only the sexy people.”
For those deeming themselves sexy enough, they can push their way over to Good Samaritan Hopsital in Downers Grove, room 3108, and join the party.
